Support the Singapore Youth Delegation at the UNFCCC COP 20

November 12, 2014

The Singapore Youth Delegation will be attending the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) 20th Conference of the Parties (COP 20), which will be held from 01 to 12 December in Lima, Peru.

We are currently in the midst of gathering and compiling our thoughts and ideas in order to devise an appropriate action plan (our stance) for the conference and we need your help in raising awareness (help us share this page!) as well as your support in helping us make this a fulfilling and successful trip.

As the Singapore Youth Delegation attending this conference, we hold a strong sense of responsibility as global citizens at these crucial international negotiations. As youths, we feel empowered to make a difference and work towards a more sustainable future. We will also be sharing our experiences pre, during and post COP 20.

Your donations and contributions, no matter the amount, will go a long way in helping us cover the high costs involved in travelling to Peru to inspire other youths and to make a positive change towards our Mother Earth.

With the urgency to tackle climate change being ever more imperative, we hope to address pertinent issues that affect Singapore, the region and the world at large as we participate at COP20 and come up with our own initiatives. We hope to use this blog as an avenue to a call to action, inspiring others to become agents of change in their own communities and contribute in their own ways.
