The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) and JTC Corporation are hosting a dialogue on sustainability and climate change, in a lead-up to the World Engineers Summit 2013.


The speakers will share their experiences and insights on the sustainable development journey and the scientific challenges in future climate change in Singapore.

  • Mr David Tan, the Assistant CEO for Technical and Professional Services Group at JTC Corporation, will talk about JTC’s pragmatic and innovative approach to environmental sustainability and some of the green technologies that helped JTC and its customers achieve resource efficiencies in land, water and energy usage.




  • Dr Chris Gordon, Director of the Centre for Climate Research Singapore will touch on the challenges in providing robust climate change projections, based on the current level of scientific and predictive capability.



This will be followed by a panel discussion on climate change, facilitated by Mr Constant Van Aerschot, the Executive Director from the Business Council for Sustainable Development Singapore.
