Bayer and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), in co-operation with the National Youth Achievement Award Council (NYAAC) and the National Environment Agency (NEA), are now inviting applicants to represent Singapore in the Bayer Young Environmental Envoy Programme.

Now on its 11th year in Singapore, the Bayer Young Environmental Envoy is a global environment education programme for the youth with the aim of developing young environmental leaders and boosting the level of environmental awareness among the youth.

Selected candidates will participate in a youth environmental leadership camp on 17 – 19 June 2011 after which they will proceed to implement their individual project ideas for a greener and more beautiful Singapore.

The projects will be evaluated and the best entries awarded a week-long all expense-paid study trip to Germany on 15 – 22 October 2011 as Bayer Young Environmental Envoys.

The four Bayer Young Environmental Envoys will join youth delegates from across four continents in a unique opportunity to observe best environmental practices and network with a diverse group of like-minded youth.

If you have a passion for green issues, with a good idea for an environmental project, we would like to invite you to apply for the program.

Outline your proposal for a project that addresses an environment-related topic / problem in your community / school using the application form.

Hi, thanks for the information, Can you please tell me what kind of projects are usually selected. Do they need to be social in nature or are technical/scientific projects preferred.

    Thanks in advance
