About Jem
Since 1995 Dr Bendell promotes responsible business as a consultant, academic and entrep…reneur. At Lifeworth he helps corporations, NGOs and the UN, in over a dozen countries, having lived in eight. He was instrumental to the creation of multi-stakeholder initiatives, including the Marine Stewardship Council and Finance Innovation Lab.

With over 100 publications on organisational responsibility, he co-authored the first book on sustainability partnerships between business and NGOs in 1997, with his latest The Corporate Responsibility Movement, available from Greenleaf.

His new focus on the luxury sector led to lectures at business and design schools worldwide, and frequent appearances in media on sustainable fashion. Bendell lives in Switzerland, but often works in Asia.
