Seal the deal: Climate Maze/Klima Labyrinten

December 16, 2009

I stumbled upon this exhibition while walking around town today. I went through the maze and if you watch closely, you can see signatures from Singaporean youths from the NYAA. They’ve all signed for the Seal the Deal campaign.

So it left me wondering, where are these people who’ve pledged to seal the deal? I urge you to come forward once again to pressure for a deal to be signed, or at least lend us your support!

As things heat up here in Copenhagen, with President of COP15 Connie Hedegaard resigning and as protests increase in scale, oh and not to mention we’re also being barred from entering Bella Centre from tomorrow onwards… The future of the Planet in light of climate change does seem rather dim. We can only hope that in the next couple of days, world leaders and top negotiators can come to a consensus about the fate of the world and how to feasibly tackle the problem of climate change, without jeopardizing important economies and livelihoods of people but also keeping in mind that millions of lives will be at risk or lost as a result of inaction here at COP15.

Love from COP15,

Mel
