Learning more about what’s involved in UNFCCC…. more acronyms~!

Flexibility Mechanisms

- ETS = Emissions Trading
- CDM = Clean Development Mechanisms
- JI = Joint Implementation

The (Carbon) Sinks

- LULUCF = Land-Use, Land-Use-Change & Forests
- CCS = Carbon Capture & Storage (this relatively “recent” idea wasn’t considered during the Kyoto Protocol)
