Who wants to be a Trillionaire?

The motivation for this action comes from the policy where United States and European governments have committed to rescue financial firms with a budget which is 40 times the money they’re spending to fight climate and poverty crises in the developing world. That budget is $4.1 trillion. Making a point that the same people who have squabbled for decades claiming they cannot allocate money for the climate crisis can move TRILLIONS of dollars within weeks if their own pocketbooks are immediately at stake.

The game show parody, which was staged by the Actions workgroup, took place outside the busy computer hall and attracted a lot of attention from the media and delegates. One contestant was dressed up to represent the big banks and the other to represent the climate rescue effort. With a mix of wit, humour and solid facts, the workgroup entertained the audience and got their message across.
